Congratulations to the winners of the first-ever Mindanao-wide Battle of the Nightingales, a quiz bowl on the nursing arts.
A total of 39 nursing schools competed in the four regional rounds held earlier this year in Butuan City, Davao City, General Santos City and Zamboanga City.
The winners from the regionals gathered together at the SMX Convention Center in Davao City yesterday, October 21, 2022 for a battle to determine who is the champion of champions in amongst Mindanao nursing schools. The three teams that rose to the top were:
Champion – Ateneo de Zamboanga University
2nd place – Brent Hospital and Colleges Inc.
3rd place – Cor Jesu College
The quiz bowl, which seeks to highlight the skills and knowledge required to be a professional nurse, is organized by the Mindanao-based hospitals of Metro Pacific Health:
