The Pediatric Oncology Department is a Satellite Health Care Facility of Mindanao Pediatric Cancer Care Network (MPCCN), an organization that exclusively provides health care services to children with cancer and blood diseases. It is a partner site of World Child Cancer.

Pediatric Oncology Unit is a two-bed capacity room where admissions and out-patient care is given. Early detection, acute care, referral and some chemotherapy treatments are the services rendered.

A Site Coordinator and a Pediatric Oncology Nurse are designated to the care of these patients. All patients are referred to the central unit, Children’s Cancer and Blood Diseases Unit at Southern Philippines Medical Center, Davao City, for the intensive care and therapy needed.

The goal of MPCCN is to improve the survival rates of children with cancer. With its slogan NO CHILD SHOULD SUFFER, MPCCN-SEH utilizes all available resources so that children, especially the indigent, can have access to care and treatment as necessary.
