The half daylong seminar held last march 21, 2017 at the Retro Hall is a success having been attended by a total of 71 participants from different departments of the hospital. Spearheaded by the Infection control nurses, this activity is geared towards the institution’s goal in maintaining the highest quality services provided by our staff thru good housekeeping and proper disinfection.

Among the topics presented are Infection Control Surveillance Reports and Importance of Cleaning and Disinfection in the Hospital by Ms. Argentina Roma, RN, followed by Handwashing and PPE Lecture and Demonstration by Elviro Firmalino, RN and Roberlyn Lusuegro, RN respectivelyA speaker from AgriExplore, Jessa Nagal, also shared her expertise on cleaning and disinfection. Question and answer portions, return demonstrations and games are all conducted interactively to make the educational experience more emerging and appealing. The program ended with a posttest followed by a sumptuous meal.
